Nassau County detectives from the Fourth Squad are investigating a bias incident that occurred in Woodmere.
On July 23 at 11:15 pm., an unknown male allegedly entered the property of Young Israel of Woodmere, located at 859 Peninsula Boulevard, and allegedly spray painted on the parking lot “house of bullies” in Hebrew, as well as a reference to a portion of religious scripture. The male subject left the scene on foot southbound on Longacre Avenue towards Fiske Drive.
The investigation is ongoing.
The subject is described as a male wearing a white mask, black hoodie, dark colored pants, black gloves and black shoes.
