Two men were arrested for weapons possession during a traffic stop in Uniondale.

On February 20 at 1:53 a.m., officers conducted a Vehicle Traffic Law stop on a black 2023 Nissan Sentra on Paff Avenue in the vicinity of Elm Place. Officers observed D’Andre Randazzo, 19, of Uniondale in the rear passenger side and Kalil Roye, 21, of Baldwin in the driver’s side.
During the course of the investigation, a loaded Glock 23 .40 caliber handgun was allegedly located on Randazzo and Roye was allegedly in possession of a switchblade knife.
Police charged Randazzo with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. Roye was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree and multiple traffic infractions. They were arraigned on February 20 at First District Court in Hempstead.
