One Killed, One Injured during Shooting at Party

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one person and injured another during a party in Bay Shore.

Police responded to a 911 call for a male shot at 1320 Ackerson Blvd. on March 22 at approximately 9 p.m. When they arrived, they found Sean Mills, 19, and a 17-year-old female shot during an outside party with approximately 50 people in attendance.

Mills, of Bay Shore, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The female was transported to a local hospital where she is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
