An Oak Beach woman was arrested for stealing a woman’s dog  in Point Lookout.

According to Nassau County Fourth Squad detectives, a 42-year-old female victim was walking her dog, a 4-month-old German Shepherd, in the vicinity of Beech Street and Glenwood Avenue on December 19, when Elizabeth Dolce approached her at 2:52 p.m. Dolce forcefully took her dog from the victim, entered a black Subaru and fled the scene.

After an investigation, police arrested Dolce, 52, at her residence, located at 4278 Oak Beach Road, without incident. She sold the dog to the victim earlier this month and has since been contacting the victim about the dog, even showing up at the victim’s home.

Dolce was charged with third-degree robbery and fourth-degree stalking. She was arraigned on December 20 at First District Court in Hempstead.
