A North Long Beach man has been arrested for criminal possession of a weapon after pointing a gun at the victim.
On September 11 at 7:28 p.m., a male victim, 51, was standing in the vicinity of Saratoga Boulevard and Broadway when he was approached by Paul Silvio. A verbal dispute took place between Silvio and the victim. The argument escalated and Silvio pointed a handgun and threatened the victim.
A short time later, responding officers located Silvio and placed him under arrest without further incident. No injuries were reported.
Silvio was charged with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm. He was arraigned on September 12 at First District Court in Hempstead.
