Melville Temple Vandalized; Incident Viewed As Hate Crime

Suffolk County Police Hates Crimes Unit detectives are investigating an incident as a hate crime that occurred at a Melville temple.

Threatening and derogatory anti-Hindu messages were spray-painted on the driveway and a sign at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, located at 2 Deshon Drive, sometime between September 15 at 7 p.m. and September 16 at 6:30 a.m.
