Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who robbed a Centereach store last month.
A man entered the 7-Eleven, located at 135 Mark Tree Road on September 24 at approximately 11:05 p.m. and used a hatchet to break a glass countertop lotto display. The suspect demanded money from an employee. The employee handed the suspect the cash register drawer. The suspect fled on foot.
The suspect was wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates hat, sunglasses, black-hoodie, black shorts with a gray stripe and black sneakers.
