Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing that seriously injured a man in Farmingville.
A small group of men entered El Charro Restaurant, located at 359 Horseblock Road, and became involved in an altercation with two brothers who had been sitting at the bar on July 27 at approximately 11 p.m. During the fight, one of the newly arrived men pulled a knife and stabbed one of the brothers in the abdomen before fleeing the scene.
Both brothers were transported to a local hospital. The stabbing victim is in serious condition. His brother was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
