Suffolk County Crime Stoppers needs the public’s assistance to help identify a man who is currently wanted for grand larceny in Riverhead.
On April 20, a woman was shopping at Home Goods on Old Country Road in Riverhead, unknowing of what was about to happen to her. At approximately 1 p.m. that day, the wanted man stole the women’s wallet out of her purse.
About an hour later, the man made his way to a Target location at 2975 Horseblock Road in Medford. Upon arrival at this store the man proceeded to charge over $800 on the women’s credit cards. This occurred about an hour after the initial crime was committed.
The Suffolk County Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are actively searching for any information on this man.
