
A 28-year-old man has been arrested for Grand Larceny that occurred in Cedarhurst.
On August 5 at 8:42 a.m., A 52-year-old male victim parked his 2002 Chevrolet outside of the store with his keys in the ignition and entered the store. Upon returning the victim noticed his vehicle was missing and called 911.
During an extensive canvass, Nassau County Fourth Precinct Detectives located the victim’s vehicle parked in a parking lot off Brookville Boulevard in Rosedale. Quentin Ferguson, of 154-71 Brookville Boulevard, was observed in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and was arrested without incident.
Ferguson is charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the Third Degree.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 6 at First District Court, Hempstead.
