Man Arrested for Allegedly Robbing Great Neck Plaza Gas Station

A Lindenhurst man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a gas station in Great Neck Plaza two months ago.

On February 14 at 6:30 p.m., Nassau County police from the Sixth Squad responded to the BP Gas Station located at 133 Cuttermill Road for a robbery that had just occurred. An unknown male entered the store, went behind the counter and displayed a hammer to the victim demanding that he open the register. The suspect took approximately $1,200 and fled the scene before police arrived.

After a thorough investigation, detectives identified and located Isaac Kodsi, 37, of 38 Piave Terrace, and placed him under arrest without incident.

Kodsi is charged with first-degree robbery fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree menacing and fourth-degree grand larceny. He will be arraigned on May 1 at First District Court in Hempstead.
