
Suffolk County Police arrested a Babylon man for allegedly attacking and killing another man in Bay Shore.
On February 28 at approximately 8:45 p.m., James Rogers allegedly attacked and struck Mark Iacono multiple times in a parking lot, located at 107 East Main St.
Iacono, 65, of Patchogue, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. Rogers remained on the scene, where he was arrested.
Following an investigation, Rogers, 66, of 25 Kingsland Place, was charged with first-degree manslaughter. He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and scheduled to be arraigned on February 28 at First District Court in Central Islip.
