Police are looking for the person responsible for burglarizing a gas station in Locust Valley.
Second Precinct officers responded to Citgo Gas Station, located at 320 Forest Avenue, for a commercial burglary on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 3:47 am. When they arrived, they determined that an unknown subject smashed the front window and entered the store. Further investigation revealed that an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes had been removed from the store. The subject left the scene in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
