Hicksville Man Arrested for Forcibly Touching Employee

A Hicksville man was arrested for forcibly touching a teenage employee at a restaurant he worked at in Farmingdale.

According to Nassau County Eighth Squad Detectives, on August 21, Ismatullah Kamran, 45, of 9 Kenneth Court, was working at Halal Urban Bites located at 533 Fulton Street, when he inappropriately grabbed and forcibly touched a female victim, 15, he recently hired. The victim immediately notified her parents, who contacted police. Shortly after, officers located Kamran and attempted to place him into custody, but he began resisting by flailing his arms and pulling away from the officers. No injuries were reported.

Kamran was charged with forcible touching and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 22 at First District Court in Hempstead.
