Hempstead Man Arrested for Public Lewdness in Backyard Incident

Elvis Maldonado, 43, of Hempstead, was arrested on April 14 and charged with public lewdness and third-degree criminal trespass after police say he exposed himself in a woman's backyard. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court

A Hempstead man was arrested Monday evening after allegedly exposing himself in a woman’s backyard while she was home, Nassau County police said.

According to detectives from the department’s First Squad, Elvis Maldonado, 43, of 67 Dietz St., was seen by a 32-year-old woman touching himself in her backyard around 8 p.m. on April 14.

Following an investigation, police located Maldonado and arrested him without incident.

He is charged with public lewdness and third-degree criminal trespass. Maldonado is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
