Gas Station Employee Arrested for Forcibly Touching 16-Year-Old Girl

A Syosset man was arrested for forcibly touching a teenage girl at the New Hyde Park gas station where he worked.

On April 4, at 3:25 p,m., Pankajkumar M. Shah, 63, of 6 Garden Circle, was working at the Valero Gas Station located at 1501 Jericho Turnpike when he allegedly inappropriately grabbed and forcibly touched a 16-year-old girl. The victim immediately left the location and notified police. Shah was located and placed under arrest without incident.

Police charged Shah with forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child in the first degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned on April 5 at First District Court in Hempstead.
