
Four men have been arrested for gun possession during a traffic stop in Uniondale.
On August 9 at 10:34 p.m., Nassau County officers from the Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT) were on routine patrol when they observed a black 2021 Honda Accord

traveling northbound on Nassau Road changing lanes unsafely. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL) stop. The occupants of the vehicle allegedly began to make furtive movements, causing officers to request the driver and passengers to exit the vehicle. After the investigation, a loaded .380 KelTec handgun was recovered from inside the vehicle.
The four occupants — Brandon Williams, 19, of 34-20 24th Street, Astoria Amir Alston, 22, of 21 Newburgh Street, Elmont, Timell Rich, 21, of 50-50 Broadway, Woodside and Tylek Ryan David, 20, of 41-14 12th Street, Long Island City — were arrested without incident.
Police charged Alston with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and VTL Violations. Williams, Rich and David were all charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. They were scheduled to be arraigned on August 10 at First District Court in Hempstead.
