Former Day Care Employee Arrested for Endangering the Welfare of Children

Suffolk County Police arrested a former day care employee for endangering the welfare of three children in her care in East Patchogue. 

Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers into incidents during which an employee, Roshanne Marks, grabbed the arms and dragged two 3-year-old children and  struck the back of a head of another 3-year-old child at a day care, located at 655 Montauk Highway in East Patchogue on October 17, Marks was arrested on October 26. 

Marks, 33, of Bohemia, was arrested and charged with three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a  Child. She will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
