Defendant Was Cursing and Screaming at Others While Standing in a Roadway
A Farmingdale man has been arrested for assaulting an officer who was trying to arrest him.
On November 2 at 1:57 a.m., Nassau County officers responded to the vicinity of Conklin Street and Main Street in Farmingdale for reports of a male causing a disturbance. Officers located Bryan Flores, 36, of 736 Conklin Street, who was cursing and screaming in the roadway, causing others to fear for their safety. One officer sustained an injury while trying to arrest Flores, who became violent and combative while resisting arrest. The officer was transported to a local area hospital. Flores was also transported to a local area hospital for a medical evaluation.
Flores was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstructing governmental Administration, pedestrian failing to use a sidewalk, third-degree resisting arrest, third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and second-degree assault. He was arraigned on November 2 at First District Court in Hempstead.
