Elmont Man Arrested for Robbing Two Gas Stations

An Elmont man was arrested for robbing two gas stations.on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 for multiple Robberies that occurred in Nassau County.

According to Nassau County Major Case Bureau Detectives, Christian Antonio Sepulveda Silva, 43, of 276 Benson Avenue, was responsible for the following robberies:

  • Sepulveda Silva entered Bolla Mart Gas Station, located at 380 Peninsula Boulevard in Hempstead, on July 28 at 11:38 p.m. and approached a male employee demanding money. He told the employee that he had a gun. The employee, in fear for his safety, complied and Sepulveda Silva fled the scene.
  • He entered Atlantic Gas Station, located at 850 N. Corona Avenue in Valley Stream, on July 29 at 2:37 a.m. and walked behind the counter, brandishing a knife demanding cash. The employee, in fear for his safety, complied and Sepulveda Silva fled the scene.

After a thorough investigation, police found Sepulveda Silva and placed him under arrest without incident. He was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and scheduled to be arraigned on November 7 at First District Court in Hempstead. It was also determined that Sepulveda Silva entered the United States on November 11, 2023 through the Visa Waiver Program.
