Suffolk County officers are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred in an Islip home.
On February 20 at about 6:30 a.m., officers went to 4 Parsons Landing after a 911 caller reported a man with a gunshot wound outside the home. After arriving, officers found a second gunshot victim inside the home.
Following a preliminary investigation, officers believe William Clifford, 73, allegedly shot his wife, Eileen Clifford, 68, to death before ending his own life.
