A Connecticut man has been arrested for shooting a Freeport man to death.
Freeport Police responded to a shot spotter activation in the vicinity of W. Seaman Avenue on August 1 at 2 a.m. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a 23-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a hospital physician.
On August 2, police arrested Kyzer Langley, 20, of 50 Fremont Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was charged with second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned on the same day at First District Court in Hempstead.
