A Brooklyn man was arrested for robbery that occurred three months ago in Manhasset.
A 48-year-old women was parking her 2024 Mercedes Benz in a parking lot located at 981 Northern Boulevard, when she was approached by two unknown male subjects. The two men grabbed and forced the victim out of the vehicle, pushing her onto the ground and threatened her with a firearm. They later removed the car key from her and one male subject entered her vehicle. The second subject entered an Acura four door sedan, operated by a third male subject and both vehicles fled westbound on Northern Boulevard.
After an investigation, Nassau County Robbery Squad Detectives arrested Brian Perales. He was charged with first-degree robbery and was arraigned on May 14 at Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead.
