A Brooklyn man was arrested for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl on Hempstead.
On June 13 at 11:55 a.m., Manuel Lopez Gil, 30, of 350 45th Street, apartment 2L, allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old female. He was arrested by Special Victims Detectives with the assistance of the Nassau County Police Department Second Squad and the New York City Police Department on Saturday, June 21 in the confines of Brooklyn.
Gil was charged with two counts of Rape in the First Degree and Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned on June 22 at First District Court in Hempstead.
