Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a man who was found on a Blue Point beach this morning.
Fifth Precinct officers responded to the beach at the end of Blue Point Avenue on March 4 at approximately 6:30 a.m. after a passerby reported a body on the beach. When officers arrived, they found Carlos Lopez with stab wounds.
Lopez, 27, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene.
