Nassau County police are looking to identify a man whose body was found in the water near a dock in Island Park, as well as the cause of death.
On April 8 at 11:05 a.m., officers responded to a dock located on Railroad Place for a body in the water. After arriving, Nassau County officers found and retrieved the body of an unknown male who was pronounced dead at the scene by responding Nassau County Police Paramedics.
The investigation is ongoing.
