Another Arrested Under Operation Smoke Out

As Operation Smoke Out continues, police have made another arrest at a Sayville store.

On May 21, undercover officers entered Island Hookah, located at 291 Main Street, where they were doing a compliance check. Wayne Bristel Jr., 22, of Mastic, who was working at the time of the officer’s entrance, proceeded to sell cannabis products to the officer.

Over 100 marijuana products were taken at the scene and many of the products were labeled to look like candy.

Bristel was charged with Unlawful Sale of Marijuana. He was released on a Field Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
