18-Year-Old Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Man during Argument

Victim Seriously Injured, Hospitalized

Suffolk County police arrested an 18-year-old man after he shot and seriously injured another man in Coram.  

A group of men were engaged in an argument in front of the apartment building located at 24 Country  Club Drive on March 22,when one of the men, Dominick Tullon, allegedly drew a handgun and fired four shots at approximately 8:40 p.m. One of the shots struck a 38-year-old man who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  

Sixth Precinct Patrol officers canvassed the area, located Tullon, and placed him in custody just after 9  p.m.  

Sixth Squad detectives charged Tullon, of Coram, with Assault in the First Degree,  Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. He is being held  overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on  March 23.
