17-Year-Old Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Another Teen

Suffolk County police arrested a 17-year-old male in connection to the stabbing of another 17-year-old male during an altercation in Brightwaters.  

On November 19, a 911 caller reported a teenager having been stabbed during a fight between a group of youths in the rear parking lot of 169 Orinoco Drive at 8:55 p.m. When police arrived, they found the victim with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.  

Following an investigation by Third Squad detectives, a 17-year-old male, whose name is being withheld due to his age, was arrested at his home. He was charged with Gang Assault in the Second Degree. 

He was held overnight and scheduled to be arraigned in the Youth Part of First District Court in  Central Islip on November 20.
