Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico and Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich joined local business owners in Stony Brook Village on April 11 for three ribbon-cutting ceremonies celebrating new and growing businesses along Main Street.

The ceremonies marked the openings of North Shore Injury Lawyer Mark T. Freeley, Esq., Little Cheese, and Georgio’s Coffee Roasters. Also in attendance were Head of the Harbor Mayor Michael Utevsky, Suffolk County Legislator Steven Englebright (D-East Setauket), New York State Assemblywoman Rebecca Kassay (D-Port Jefferson), and members of the Ward Melville Heritage Organization and Stony Brook Village Center.
Mark T. Freeley, Esq., a personal injury lawyer with over 30 years of experience and a strong presence in the Long Island legal community, has
opened his office at 111 Main Street. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Freeley is also known for his volunteer work with Last Chance Animal Rescue, fostering dogs and supporting local adoption efforts.
Little Cheese, located at 127 Main Street, specializes in artisanal cheeses and fine accoutrements, with a focus on sustainably sourced products. The shop offers custom charcuterie boards and curated selections ideal for both everyday enjoyment and special gatherings.
At 131 Main Street, Georgio’s Coffee Roasters offers small-batch, fresh-roasted specialty coffees sourced through sustainable and direct trade practices. With decades of experience in the coffee industry and deep relationships with growers around the world, the team at Georgio’s is committed to quality, transparency, and supporting farming communities.
