Three Suffolk County businesses have received Empire Awards from New York State Senator Monica R. Martinez (D-Brentwood). The businesses, all located within Martinez’ district, are Dulce de Leche Bakery, located at 346 N. Windsor Ave. in Brightwaters; Izalco Deli, located at 1558 Brentwood Road in Bay Shore; and Moloney Family Funeral Homes, which has seven locations, including Central Islip and Hauppauge.
“These honorees represent the very best of New York’s small businesses, driving local economic growth while giving back to the neighborhoods they serve,” Martinez said. “We thank them for their commitment to our community and for the care, quality and dedication they provide to their customers and neighbors every day.”
The New York State Senate Empire Award recognizes local businesses for their dedication to customers, employees and the communities they serve. The award highlights businesses that contribute to local growth and community well-being across New York State.
