Police Seize 13 Boxes of Illegal Fireworks from Bay Shore Warehouse

Suffolk County police officers have seized more than 1,500 fireworks from a Bay Shore
shipping facility.
Officers from the third Precinct received a tip and followed it to a warehouse in Bay Shore.
The warehouse had received a shipment of illegal fireworks to be shipped to a business in
Suffolk County. On June 17, Police seized 13 boxes of fireworks with an estimated street
value of approximately $5,000. The warehouse location is not being disclosed since this is
an ongoing investigation.
