A Valley Stream man was arrested for illegally selling cannabis at his Hauppauge store.
Narcotics Section detectives, and Anti-Crime and Community Support Unit officers investigated illegal sales of cannabis products. Through this investigation they visited seven businesses and found violations at one.
Qazi Siddique, 30, an employee at Convenience 12-12, located at 900-Wheeler Ave., was arrested for selling cannabis products without a license on May 2, and selling cannabis products to minors on May 8.
Investigators seized large quantities of flavored vape products. The store was also issued multiple fire and building code violations and was essentially shut down by the Town of Islip Fire Marshal.
