The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has named Ray Manzoni, a member of Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR), as one of 10 finalists for its prestigious annual Good Neighbor Awards.

The Good Neighbor Awards honor REALTORS® who make an extraordinary difference in their communities through volunteer service. Manzoni has been a tireless advocate for ALS patients and their families since 1998, when a close friend was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease. Since then, he has helped raise millions of dollars for ALS research and has championed patient services such as respite care, accessible vans, and home renovations for those living with the disease.

“Ray is a shining example of how REALTORS® on Long Island are not only dedicated professionals but also passionate community leaders,” said LIBOR President Mark Donnelly. “We are incredibly proud to see Ray recognized on the national stage for his compassion and commitment. His work embodies LIBOR’s mission of strengthening neighborhoods and improving lives.”

Five Good Neighbor Award winners will be selected by judges to each receive a $10,000 grant and national media exposure for their charities. In addition, the public can cast votes for their favorite finalist to be named the Web Choice Favorite. Online voting is open from now until November 6 at realtor.com/goodneighbor. The finalist with the most votes will earn a $2,500 grant, while the second- and third-place finishers will receive $1,250 each.

Winners, including the Web Choice Favorite, will be announced on November 10. The Good Neighbor Awards are supported by primary sponsor Realtor.com®.
