Suffolk County officers arrested three people at two Brentwood businesses with illegal gambling devices.
On March 11 at about 7:25 p.m., Third Precinct Investigative Unit officers, with the help of Third Precinct Community Response Unit officers, conducted a compliance check at Bueno Deli, located at 134 Heyward Street, and Express Gas & Food Mart, located at 1034 Islip Avenue.
A total of four gambling devices were found and seized. The following arrestees were administered field appearance tickets.
- Anelfri Bueno, 51, of Bay Shore, a worker at Bueno Deli, is charged with two counts of possession of gambling device
- John Martinez, 39, of Brentwood, a customer at Bueno Deli, is charged with loitering for the purpose of gambling
- Joginder Singh, 55, of Plainview, a worker at Express Gas & Food Mart, is charged with two counts of possession of gambling device
Bueno, Martinez, and Singh are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court.
