A Hicksville man was arrested for the sale of illegal fireworks.
On June 26 at 1:15 p.m., the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct POP (Police Oriented Policing) Unit conducted an investigation for illegal fireworks at a 7-Eleven located at 500 Old Country Road in Jicksville. Officers observed illegal fireworks for sale and arrested Bishal Regmi, 28, of 9 Beacon Lane without incident. Officers from the NCPD seized the illegal fireworks.
Regmi is charged with Unlawfully Selling Fireworks. He was issued an Appearance Ticket and ordered to return on July 18 at First District Court in Hempstead.
