Two men were arrested for allegedly selling alcohol and tobacco products to an underage person during compliance checks.
Second Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol and tobacco products during which 14 businesses were checked for compliance with the law.
Aman, 24, of S. Ozone Park, an employee of One Stop Smoke Shop, located at 233A Broadway, Greenlawn, was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree (Class A misdemeanor).
Ibrahim Syed, 43, of Coram, an employee of Tobacco Corner, located at 117 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington Station, was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the Second Degree (Class B misdemeanor).
Both were issued Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court, Central Islip on a later date.
