Suffolk County Police arrested an employee at a smoke shop for selling cannabis without a license in Centereach.
Following an investigation by Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with Town of Brookhaven investigators, building inspectors and fire marshal, a search warrant was executed at
A&M Blue Dream Smoke Shop, located at 1456 Middle Country Road, on January 30.
Authorities seized cannabis products, flavored vape products and more than $1,000 in cash. An employee of the store, Syed Ali, was arrested at approximately 12:05 p.m.
Ali, 24, of Mount Sinai, was charged with Unauthorized Sale of Cannabis Products Without a License. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
