Nassau County police from the Fifth Dquad are investigating the burglary from a restaurant in Elmont.
On January 11 at 3:30 a.m., Fifth Precinct officers responded to El Buen Sabor Catracho Restaurant, located at 1316 Hempstead Turnpike, where a burglary had taken place. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown subject threw a brick through the front door and entered the business. Further investigation revealed that
an unknown amount of money was removed from the cash register.
The subject fled in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
