Brookhaven Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig recently attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Woodland Trail at the Long Island Game Farm, located at 489 Chapman Blvd in Manorville. The attraction holds a special place in her heart as she is a longtime Manorville resident and supporter of the Game Farm.
Joined by fellow elected officials, community members and staff, Dunne-Kesnig spoke of the farm’s commitment to wildlife education and conservation, as well as its impact on the surrounding community. As part of the ceremony, Dunne-Kesnig presented an official proclamation to owner and operator, Melinda Novak, recognizing the farm’s decades of service and its role in fostering environmental awareness among residents and visitors alike.
