Suffolk County Police arrested a man for selling alcohol to an underage person during an SLA compliance check in Port Jefferson.
In response to numerous complaints of underage drinking, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the alleged sale of alcohol to people under the age of 21 and arrested one person on August 15 at 9 p.m.
Dean Ulrich, 39, of Stony Brook, an employee of Portside Bar and Grill, located at 242 Traders Cove, was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree.
Ulrich is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date. An SLA investigator issued several citations to the business.
