2 Hicksville Men Arrested for Allegedly Selling Flavored Vapes

Two store employees from Hicksville were arrested for allegedly selling flavored vape products.

On June 27 at 5:30 p.m., Nassau County officers assigned to the Problem Oriented Police (POP) Unit conducted an investigation targeting the sale of flavored vape products being sold at the Tobacco Junction Smoke Shop, located at 201 Hempstead Turnpike in Hicksville. During the investigation, officers observed a large quantity of flavored vape products displayed for sale.

As a result of the investigation, two employees, Harshkumar Patel, 25, of 27 Powell Street, and Kaushalkumar Patel, 20, of 37 Linden Boulevard, were each charged with Sale of Restricted Products and Sale of Flavored Products Prohibited.  They were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and were asked to appear at First District on July 17.
