Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating an incident during which a woman was seriously injured after crashing her car into a house in Huntington Station last night.
Allison Schneider was driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra westbound on West 19th Street when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the residence, located at 186 West 19th St., on November 16 at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Schneider, 22, of Huntington Station, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Hyundai was impounded for a safety check.
The Fire Marshal was on scene and determined there was no structural damage to the house. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
