Nassau County police are investigating a crash that happened in Thomaston.
On December 19 at 12:07 p.m., a 2023 BMW being operated by an 82-year-old male was traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard in the vicinity of Lee Avenue when it was involved in a collision with a 2004 Toyota being operated by a 62-year-old male. The 82-year-old driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. The 62-year-old driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
