Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a driver and passenger in Brentwood.
Edin Quinones was driving a 2007 Honda Accord eastbound on Express Drive North, just east of Washington Avenue, on August 18 when, at 1:56 a.m., the vehicle veered to the right and struck two parked cars.
Quinones, 20, of Mastic, and Xannel Avalo, 16, of Freeport, were transported with serious injuries to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore. Another passenger, Andrew Green, 14, was also transported to South Shore University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Anyone with information is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
