Two Men Shot While Driving on Sagtikos Parkway

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating the shooting of two men who were  driving in Brentwood early this morning. 

On March 13 at 4 a.m, two 24-year-old men, who are related to one another, were driving in separate vehicles northbound on  Sagtikos State Parkway, approximately one-fourth of a mile north of Pine Aire Drive, when they were shot by the occupant of another vehicle.  

One man drove to the Second Precinct in Huntington and was then transported to South Shore  University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of a gunshot wound to the lower back. The other man  drove to Huntington Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds to the wrist and thigh. Both men’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
