State Police Need Help in Identifying Pedestrian Hit on Southern State

The New York State Police is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this individual who was hit by a car.

On August 21 at approximately 5:45 a.m., on the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway in the area of Exit 13, state troopers responded to a call for reports of a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The individual who was struck was a Black female approximately 30 years of age holding a large teddy bear and wearing a gold necklace.
