Suffolk County police have arrested a Smithtown man for fleeing the scene after he struck and killed a woman with his car late last month in Bohemia.
On November 27, a woman was crossing Veterans Memorial Highway at 5th Avenue when she was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Seth Miller that fled the scene at approximately 5:15 a.m. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miller, 40, of Smithtown, was arrested on December 4 and charged with leaving the scene of an incident with a fatality. He will be arraigned the same day at First District Court in Central Islip.
