A Queens man was arrested at an illegal car meetup in Valley Stream.
On March 8 at 9:40 p.m., a large-scale illegal vehicle rally took place at Green Acres Mall, located at 500 West Sunrise Highway. Patrol Officers and the Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit responded to the scene. Forty summonses were issued, two vehicles were impounded and one arrest was made.
Justin Walcott, 26, 11744 193rd Street, Saint Albans, was charged with forgery of a Vehicle Identification Number, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and was issued multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law summonses.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on March 9 at First District Court in Hempstead.
