Nassau County police have released photos of a vehicle that was involved in a crash in Uniondale late last year.
On November 15, 2024 at 8 p.m., an unknown male was operating a red Chrysler Town & Country, bearing a Texas license plate, on Nassau Road when he struck the rear of a parked white Toyota Avalon in front of 785 Nassau Road, occupied by an 81-year-old female victim. The unknown subject then fled scene and, a short time later, abandoned the vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment. There is no further description of the subject at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
